Comm Comm worked for several years on the planning communications and construction communications for this brand new Berkeley development at Watford Junction, delivering new homes, school and GP surgery.

• A highly accessible brownfield site close to Watford Junction and its train and bus links to London, Hertfordshire and the north.

Scheme deliverables

• First site in the adopted Watford Junction SPD Masterplan

• Create a sense of place where new and existing residents will enjoy living

• Safer and more attractive route to and from the station

• New shops, businesses and workshop spaces

• New school

• Sustainable environment with low parking and sustainable transport routes.

Communications undertaken:

• Regular resident meetings

• Regular resident newsletters explaining any disruptions and latest plans

• Produced materials and exhibition boards to explain developments

• Managed website and project in-box

• Drafted responses and liaised with client and residents on any complaints and concerns.
