Comm Comm helps secure planning for more than 6,000 new London homes in 2025
One of our proudest achievements in 2025 was helping to bring forward housing proposals that will see more than 6,000 new homes built in and around London.
Managing Risk Early
Liam explains how identifying and managing project risks early in the consultation process, and genuinely listening to local concerns, helps reduce objection in the long term.
The licensing and planning system is technical by design. For most people living near a proposed scheme, there is little time or inclination to unpick what an application does, what it does not do, or where the real impacts might fall. That gap is where doubt takes hold. Developers can quickly be seen as distant, process-led and profit-driven, rather than connected to the day-to-day reality of a neighbourhood.
Project Flourish
Project Flourish at Kensal Canalside approved and ready to blossom
The Kensal Canalside Opportunity Area is one of the largest undeveloped brownfield sites in Kensington and Chelsea, and we were delighted recently when members of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC)’ planning committee approved Ballymore and Sainsbury’s joint proposals to redevelop a large portion of the site.

From Client to Project Manager
Paula, who joined our team in 2023, shares what it’s like being on the other side of the table
Having spent my whole career working client side, it has been extremely refreshing being on the other side of the fence. What I have noticed more than anything since working with Comm Comm UK is how much easier it is to create a successful campaign when corporate internal politics and complications that often dilute and confuse messaging, are not present. Whilst there can be lots of deliberation about what you can/can’t say, a consultant will be able to cut through all the noise to create clear, powerful content which meets the brief and project objectives.
