Comm Comm helps secure planning for more than 6,000 new London homes in 2025

At Comm Comm, we’re proud of the incredible communications work we regularly deliver for our clients, but we try not to be too boastful – nobody likes a show off!

However, 2025 really was a year to sing about for us, with our team of specialist communications experts delivering successful stakeholder engagement, public consultation and construction communications on 35 built environment projects that really will make a difference to thousands of people.

One of our proudest achievements in 2025 was helping to bring forward housing proposals that will see more than 6,000 new homes built in and around London. Indeed, a number of our longstanding housing schemes, such as Ballymore and Sainsbury’s Project FlourishPhase 4 of Berkeley Homes’ Woodberry Down and Notting Hill Genesis’ redevelopment of Curry Rise and Bray Road to create Millbrook Rise, all gained planning permission last year.

These consents will enable the respective developers of these projects to break ground in the near future and deliver much-needed new homes, including hundreds of affordable properties.

Last year, we also helped our clients deliver:

  • Four successful planning and licensing applications for hospitality and retail sites

  • Construction communications on seven projects, ensuring local residents are kept up to date with road closures, deliveries to site and noisy building works

  • The submission of four planning applications for new housing developments that are now awaiting planning committee dates. This includes one scheme that will create more than 2,500 new homes should planning consent be granted

  • A change of use application for a new healthcare facility

  • The submission of a planning application for our first data centre project

  • Securing work for 16 new projects, including two new major social housing regeneration projects, as well as some exciting central London redevelopments.

Excitingly, our founder Jessica was included in Mace magazine’s 100 Top Political Influencers for 2025 - a real credit to her long career in the business and expertise in delivering political insight on built environment projects.

We joined the Planning Futures group in 2025, alongside our Parliamentary Liaison Group membership, with the aim of keeping consultation high on the agenda. Jessica also became a founding member of the Conservative Housing and Development Network, working with the Shadow Housing Minister on policy for the Conservative Party.

2025 really was an incredible year for Comm Comm, if we don’t say so ourselves, and we’re all excited for more success in 2026.
