Public and stakeholder engagement for the second phase of works on the podium of the Barbican Estate.

Podium of Grade II listed Barbican Estate
Repair and drainage issues.

Landscape enhancements
Improvement to the greening and biodiversity of the estate, in line with the City Corporation’s Climate Action Strategy.
Communications undertaken:
Public consultation started in October 2021
Working with the local community to promote the benefits of the scheme.
Status of scheme:
Planning and Listed Building Consent achieved in June 2023
Working starting in 2025.
